Texting

When training or other programs experience last-minute changes, immediate communication with attendees is essential. Many participants will read a SMS/text message much more quickly than the same message received via email. Therefore, Learning Stream offers a SMS/text messaging option for class and event updates.

If they opt in, registrants can receive any scheduled or impromptu communications—reminders, updates, alerts—via SMS in addition to email. Those registrants who still prefer to receive updates via email won’t be left out of the loop either.

When opting for texting on the registration form, a registrant provides a phone number where any messages will be delivered.

Whether text or email, all messages can be filtered and customized any number of ways, such as by registrant status (confirmed, wait list…) or by question responses (breakout session, speaker vs. trainee…).
