HR Honchos and Other Class Registration Software Users
We have often been asked to describe the typical person within an organization who needs class registration software. Our answer is succinct: Most Learning Stream users are humans. We know that’s not the answer most people are looking for, but it’s the truth. It would be nice if there were such a title as Director of Online Registration Software or Dean of All Things Related to Registration, but there isn’t. Or if there is, we would like to talk to her immediately. The need for registration management is so broad and diverse it’s impossible to put our customers into one bucket. If we did, it would be a very large bucket.
Learning Stream is designed for organizations that have very complex challenges. We try to focus on the education and training fields. We narrow it down further to those that conduct dozens, if not hundreds, or ͞events͟ each year. Many of our customers need to manage continuing education credits and/or require group registration capabilities—sometimes with discount scenarios that would give a Calculus professor a headache. Even after all that, it’s impossible to pigeon-hole Learning Stream users to a handful of job descriptions and titles.
